For applique: Hoop Stabilizer. Stitch first step. Spray with adhesive spray and place fabric on top. Stitch next step. Take away from machine but keep in hoop. Cut away fabric. Place back in macnine and stitch the final step. When done cut away stabilizer

For freestanding Lace: Stitch on water soluble vilene and dip in warm water when done.
